Our client is looking for a Precision Mechanic - Toolmaker. If you enjoy technical challenges and have a keen eye for detail, this might be the job for you! You will use technical drawings to create tools and machine parts, check them for quality and safety, and repair, modify, and maintain the tools used in our production machines. What are your tasks?

  • Work with a team of 8 technicians.

  • Read and understand detailed technical drawings.

  • Create, assemble, maintain, and repair new and existing production tools.

  • Use your technical skills in a dynamic role where you can be creative and find new solutions.

  • You will work during the day with a good schedule. From Monday to Thursday, you work 8 hours and 15 minutes, and on Friday, about 6 hours, so you can enjoy a long weekend.

The company is based in Dronten and is part of a larger Swiss group and specializes in high-quality metal and plastic packaging. The facility primarily produces tin packaging for sectors like baby formula, tobacco, and cosmetics, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, such as using 100% recycled steel. The company also offers innovative solutions that combine metal and plastic packaging materials.

What we ask

  • A technical or mechanical engineering background.

  • A few years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the metal/tin and/or plastics industry.

  • Experience with traditional machines for both machining and welding, or wanting to learn.

  • You’re comfortable speaking either Dutch or English at a B1 level or higher.
